I'm Shannon, an artist and environmental scientist based in Eagle River, Alaska.

Born and raised in the wilds of Alaska, I’ve had the rare opportunity through my work as a scientist to travel to almost every remote corner of our beautiful state.

My art reflects the incredible diversity of ecosystems, wildlife, and cultures that thrive here.

When Shannon’s not working on complex environmental sites, she focuses her creativity into watercolor & gouache paintings, mixed media creations, and fiber art (enhanced embroidery and quilted wall-hangings). Her work has been published on journal covers, printed media (cards/stickers/drop-ship) and been selected for various event logos.
